SELFIE is an after-school program for girls. SELFIE is an acronym for Self-Esteem, Leadership, Focus, Integrity and Education. We focus on self-esteem, self-respect, self-confidence, self-worth and self-awareness. We discuss hygiene, social media, community service, team building, respect, etiquette, self-esteem, conflict resolution, girl drama, character education, legacy and more. Some of the activities include journaling, selfies, cross the line, talking behind my back, water challenges and more.  At the end of the sessions, the girls are acknowledged for their hard work with a celebration ceremony.

SELFIE is part of the non-profit SPORTSe (Supporting Positive Opportunities while Raising Their Self-esteem).  The nonprofit was established in 2014 to help children learn and understand their value in life.
