Bio: I have been teaching special education for 11 years. I started teaching in Springfield Illinois with high school self-contained boys. I spent 3 years there until I moved to St. Louis. I have been teaching in the Kid Connect Program at Moline Elementary for the last 7 years. I have my Bachelors in Special Education from Eastern Illinois University. I recently completed my Masters degree in Special Education through Grand Canyon University. During my spare time, I enjoy hanging out with my family (especially my 4 year old grandson), my significant other, and friends. I love to be out on the water, whether it is in a pool, on a boat, or at the beach. I am also an avid reader. I love to read just about anything that I can get my hands on. I am a huge St. Louis Cardinals baseball fan and Blues fan. My favorite football team is Denver Broncos. I am also the proud parent of a United States Marine. My youngest is a Sargent in the Marines and is currently stationed in Japan for the next 3 years. My oldest daughter recently moved to Oklahoma City for her job and my middle child and her son live with me.
